Please note:

Your donations & support of The Salvation Army Thrift Store can help transform the lives of so many residents of the Cornwall area.  We gratefully accepts many different donated items to be sold in our Thrift store.

  We strive to offer the best quality merchandise, so we do request that donated items be gently used and in good condition, for example no stains, rips, tears, or missing or broken pieces.

Unfortunately, we are not able to sell items that are in poor condition due to health and safety reasons.

Clothing & Accessories

• Ladies, Men’s & Children’s clothing

• Accessories: Belts, hats, scarves, gloves, purses, bags, backpacks, suitcases

• Footwear: Men’s, Women’s & Children’s (in pairs) for any season

• Jewelry: Necklaces, broaches, rings, earrings (in pairs)

• Household items: Bake ware, utensils, cutlery, kitchenware, bowls, plates, glasses, mugs, knickknacks, etc.

• Linens such as: bedding, towels, tablecloths, aprons, curtains & curtain rods, hand towels, carpets (in good condition)

• Electronics in clean good working condition with all components & no repair cords (safety hazard)

• Bathroom Items: shower curtains, soap & towel holders, laundry baskets, garbage baskets

• Seasonal items: Sporting goods, Garden tools, decorations for all seasons

• Misc Items: Books, music, DVD, VHS, CDs, Musical Instruments, Tools

We know we can’t do it alone! We've been at it long enough to know that we're only as strong as the relationships we build. That’s why we make partnerships, not walls, with other organizations, groups and individuals in our community.

And, it's why we need people like you to join us in providing hope by giving your time, talent and resources so we can continue assisting others.

I would like to donate food items, what do you accept?

It’s hard to imagine what it’s like to have to turn to a food bank, soup kitchen or school feeding program in order to have a meal.  But for too many Canadians, it is a reality they face day in and day out.

Last year, 3.9 million meals were served at Salvation Army shelters and feeding programs. Guests include families with children, employed people whose low wages don’t cover basic living essentials, individuals on social assistance, and Canadians living on a fixed income, which includes seniors and people with disabilities.

Your donations & support of The Salvation Army Food Bank can help transform the lives of so many residents of the Cornwall area.  We gratefully accepts many different donated items to be given away at the Food Bank.

Hosting a FOOD DRIVE helps us to provide many highly requested items, it also allows you to get in on this selfless rewarding feeling of helping those in need in your very own community!
